Delivery
Included in the price, anywhere in the EU, and paid for by card at the checkout or in cash when the box reaches your hands.
What delivery costs
Nothing on top. The total on your order is the sum the courier collects: the price of the tool and nothing else. There is no minimum order, no surcharge for paying in cash, and no handling fee added at the door.
One exception exists and it is always flagged in advance. A few islands and remote districts are served by a second carrier; for those addresses we write to you with the extra carriage before the parcel moves, and you may cancel at no cost.
Where parcels go
Any of the 27 countries of the European Union, to a street address: a house, a flat, a workplace or a staffed reception. Since the driver leaves with your money, the box has to change hands in person, which rules out lockers, parcel shops and PO boxes. The carrying itself is done by local courier firms working to our brief.
How long it takes
We hand a parcel over a working day or two after the order is confirmed on the phone. Everything below is counted from that handover, not from the order itself.
| Where it is going | Days in transit |
|---|---|
| Mainland Spain | 1–3 |
| Portugal and France | 2–4 |
| Germany, Italy and the Benelux countries | 2–4 |
| Central Europe: Austria, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia | 3–5 |
| The Nordic and Baltic states | 4–7 |
| The south-east: Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, plus Cyprus and Malta | 4–7 |
| Islands and remote districts | 5–10, confirmed when we ring |
These are the usual ranges, not promises. Storms, strikes and the week around a public holiday all stretch them. If a parcel falls well behind, we chase the courier rather than leaving you to do it.
At the door
The courier will normally ring first, which is why a working phone number is part of every order. If you chose cash, have it ready, count it out and keep the receipt. You are entitled to look the box over before you pay.
If the box looks wrong, refuse it. A crushed corner, a torn seal, a tool that is plainly not what you ordered – hand it back. No money changes hands, the parcel returns to us at our cost, and we start again or cancel, whichever you prefer.
If nobody is in
Couriers try again, usually twice, and may leave a card with a number to arrange a time. After the final attempt the parcel comes back to us and the order is cancelled; tell us if you want it sent out again and we will arrange a new day at no extra cost.
Damage found after you pay
Open the box the same day if you can. Transit damage has to reach us within 48 hours, with photographs of the tool and the packaging, so that we can claim against the courier. We replace the tool or refund you in full – your choice – and we pay the carriage both ways.
Faults that appear later are covered by the legal guarantee, and a change of mind is covered by returns and refunds.
