Terms of sale
The rules that apply when you buy a tool from Mavrora. They are written to be read, not to be got around.
1. Who you are buying from
FLOFUM, S.L., Calle Parcerisa 13, Local 1, 08014 Barcelona, Spain, CIF B75621250, trading as Mavrora. Contact: support@mavrora.com.
2. Who these terms are for
Consumers – people buying for purposes outside a trade or profession – and small businesses buying a tool for their own use. You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. Nothing in these terms takes away a consumer’s rights under Spanish or EU law.
3. Prices
Prices are in euro and include VAT and delivery within the European Union. The price on the site is the whole amount you pay, whether it is taken at the checkout or handed to the courier, with nothing added at the door. Where an address is served by a second carrier – some islands and remote districts – we tell you about any extra carriage before the parcel moves, and you may cancel instead at no cost.
4. How a contract is made
A listing on this site is an invitation to order, not an offer. The sequence is:
- You place an order at the checkout and receive an order number by email.
- We confirm it by telephone and agree a delivery day. That confirmation forms the contract.
- We dispatch, normally within one or two working days.
- The courier hands over the box, and collects the money if you chose cash on delivery.
We may decline an order – if a tool is out of stock, if the address is one we cannot serve, or if a price was obviously wrong – and we will say so rather than deliver something different. A declined order costs you nothing: with cash on delivery nothing was ever taken, and a card payment is returned in full.
5. Payment
Two ways, both in euro: by card at the checkout, or in cash to the courier for the exact total on your order. We take no bank transfers and no deposits. With cash on delivery nothing is charged before the parcel arrives, and the courier’s receipt is your proof of payment; an invoice follows by email on request.
6. Delivery
To a street address in the 27 EU countries, in the hands of a person who can pay. Times are on the delivery page and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over; before that it is ours. If nobody is available after the courier’s attempts, the parcel returns to us and the order is cancelled.
7. Changing your mind
You may withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, under EU consumer law. Tell us inside those 14 days, then post the tool back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return postage unless the tool was faulty, wrong or damaged in transit. Refunds go back the way you paid, within 14 days of the tool reaching us or of proof that you sent it. The full procedure, including how we treat a tool that has been used beyond inspection, is on returns and refunds.
8. Guarantee
Every tool carries the legal guarantee of conformity. Spanish law sets it at three years from delivery for new goods; where your own country’s law is more generous, that applies. Remedies are repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, in that order of preference. See guarantee and safety.
9. Using the tools safely
These are powered cutting, spraying and pressure tools. Follow the manufacturer’s manual, wear the protection it specifies, and keep them away from children. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by use that ignores the manual.
10. Our liability
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms or by failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for business losses, and nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Events outside our control
Strikes, severe weather, customs or carrier failures and similar events pause our obligations for as long as they last. If a delay becomes unreasonable, either of us may cancel and any money paid comes back in full.
12. Complaints
Write to support@mavrora.com; we answer within one working day and aim to settle a complaint within 30 days. Consumers may also approach the consumer authority in their own country or their national European Consumer Centre, and Spanish consumer arbitration is open to us.
13. Law and courts
Spanish law governs these terms. A consumer keeps the mandatory protections of the country they live in and may sue in its courts.
14. Changes
The version published when you place an order is the version that governs that sale. Changes are dated on this page.
